As a pediatrician, my primary goal has always been to provide excellent care to my patients. I am particularly committed to developing close relationships with entire families and watching my patients grow from newborns into healthy, capable adults. I welcome the opportunity to assist new parents as they experience the joys and navigate the challenges of parenthood.
Throughout the preschool and elementary school years, I am available to treat commonly occurring illnesses, as well as to help foster a sense of independence in children. Along with addressing parents’ concerns about their children’s physical well-being, I help them work through any emotional or behavioral issues that may arise. I also enjoy empowering my tween and teen patients to make the right decisions for their health. As my patients mature into adulthood, I help guide them through the necessary steps in their transition to an internist’s care.
I am an excellent listener. I believe that communication and getting a patient’s thorough history are the first steps to excellent medical care. In these days of “big box” medicine, patients often feel rushed through a visit. Conversely, I take my time and ensure my patients feel they have been listened to and all of their concerns have been addressed.
As a local mom, living in Westchester with my husband and three children, I know what it is like to raise a family in this community. When I do find free time, I enjoy cooking, reading and exercising.
