When and How Can I Receive My COVID-19 Vaccine?

Westchester Health and Northwell Health are here to help facilitate the safe, efficient distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine throughout the communities we serve. We are following the phased distribution plan as defined by New York state. Once the vaccine is widely available, our goal is to make sure the vaccine is accessible at as many locations as possible to anyone who wants it. As our efforts are well underway to administer the COVID-19 vaccine, the New York State Department of Health, based on need and risk, has created priority groups to receive vaccination. When will I receive the COVID-19 vaccine?

The team at Northwell is encouraged by the large numbers of our community members who are eager to receive the vaccine. As we await new vaccine deliveries, we ask that you be patient, and diligent. First dose appointments for those eligible are being added as supply is made available to us.

Since there is currently a limited supply of the vaccine, it will take time to vaccinate everyone who wants to receive it. The CDC has established a framework to make the vaccine available in a phased approach. Healthcare personnel and high-risk individuals will receive it first, followed by workers in essential and critical industries. How can I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment to receive your vaccine at a Northwell Health location, click here. Please note that timeslots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The best way to schedule an appointment is to check back to the scheduling page for availability. Any questions should only be directed to (844) 919-VACC (8222). Westchester Health staff and physicians cannot schedule appointments. We appreciate your patience, as our website and call center are experiencing extremely high call volume. Can I receive the vaccine without an appointment?

No. An appointment is required to receive the vaccine. We understand that it may be frustrating to schedule an appointment. Availability is based on the vaccine supply provided by New York state. Please continue to check back to the scheduling site regularly for available timeslots.
