Dr. Ivker joined Soundview Pediatric Associates in 1995.

She received her Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing from Boston University. Prior to starting medical school she worked as a registered nurse.

Dr. Ivker graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine and completed her medical school education at New York Medical College.

Dr. Ivker completed her pediatric residency at Schneider Childrens Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center and is Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Ivker has held a faculty position at New York Medical College as an advisor to the Fifth Pathway Program for foreign medical graduates. In addition, she has served as a visiting professor in Pediatrics at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is affiliated with White Plains Hospital Center.

Dr Ivker is the mother of 2 great girls. As the parent of an ex-premature infant, she is keenly aware of the issues that the ex-premie and their parents face.
