Nancy Reisman Beran, MD
Dr. Nancy R. Beran specializes in Internal Medicine. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St, Louis and then received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and graduated as a McClellan Scholar. Dr. Beran completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. Upon completion of her residency, she was chosen to serve as Chief Resident in Primary Care. During that time, Dr. Beran served as a clinical instructor in Internal Medicine, worked in the Women's health Clinic, and developed methods to optimize teaching clinical skills to residents.
Dr. Beran has expertise in the management of obesity, including the appropriate use of prescription medicines for weight loss. In her clinical practice, she utilizes an individualized approach to weight loss, including: counseling, diet modification, and treatment of the medical problems related to obesity.
